CalClip Privacy Policy

Effective July 4, 2026 · CalClip is published by BossOS Pro (Buena Vista Vision, Inc.)

CalClip turns the email or text you are reading into a drafted Google Calendar event. This policy describes exactly what the extension reads, what it transmits, and what it stores. The short version: your content is used once to draft your event, then discarded. We store none of it.

What CalClip reads, and when

CalClip reads page content only at the moment you invoke it — by clicking the toolbar icon or choosing "Add to Google Calendar" from the right-click menu. It has no standing access to any website and never reads pages in the background. What it captures: the visible email thread or your highlighted text, the page title and address, and participant email addresses present on the page.

What is transmitted

The captured text is sent once, over HTTPS, to our drafting endpoint (api hosted at bossospro.com), where an AI model extracts the event details: title, date and time, location, guests, and a short description. The response is returned to your browser, which opens Google Calendar's own event page with those fields prefilled.

Third-party services

Drafting uses an AI model provider under our agreement with them; content is processed transiently and is not used for model training. Payments are processed by Stripe. Sign-in codes are delivered via our authentication provider (Supabase).
